“Backgammon Online” (the “Application”, “App”) and the website
appfect.pro (the “Website”), operated by
Anton Iliukhin, individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By using the Application or the Website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We CollectWe may collect the following categories of information:
1.1. Account and Profile Data- Automatically created guest ID when you first launch the App;
- Data linked when you connect Apple or Google account (such as identifier, display name, email if provided by the platform).
1.2. Usage Data and Device InformationCollected automatically when you use the App or Website, for example:
- device model, operating system, language;
- IP address, country or approximate location;
- app version, crash logs and performance metrics;
- in-app behavior (buttons clicked, screens viewed, session duration, game progress).
1.3. Analytics and Attribution DataThrough third-party analytics and attribution tools (such as Firebase, Google Analytics, Tenjin, Smartlook), we may collect:
- install source (ad campaign, channel);
- events like app open, tutorial completion, level ups, purchases;
- aggregated statistics about how users interact with the App.
1.4. In-App Purchases and PaymentsPurchases are processed by the App Store (Apple). We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive limited information from Apple, such as transaction identifiers and purchase status, to provide purchased items in the App and for anti-fraud and analytics purposes.
1.5. Push NotificationsIf you allow push notifications, we will generate a device token and use it via Apple Push Notification service (APNs) to send you notifications about game events, bonuses or updates. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.
1.6. Advertising DataWe work with advertising partners such as Google Ads, Chartboost, Unity Ads, Liftoff Monetize, AppLovin, IronSource. These partners may collect and use identifiers and usage data (for example, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, in-app events) to show ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud.
We do not directly receive all raw data from these partners, but we may access aggregated reports in their dashboards.
2. How We Use the InformationWe use the collected information to:
- provide and operate the Application and its features;
- create and manage guest accounts and linked accounts;
- synchronize your progress across devices (when linked to Apple/Google);
- send you in-app messages and push notifications (if enabled);
- monitor performance, fix bugs and improve stability;
- analyze usage patterns and improve game design, balance and user experience;
- measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and user acquisition;
- prevent fraud, cheating and abuse;
- comply with legal obligations and protect our legitimate interests.
3. Legal Basis for ProcessingDepending on your jurisdiction, we process your data based on:
- performance of a contract (providing the App and its features);
- our legitimate interests (analytics, fraud prevention, improving the service);
- your consent, where required (for example, push notifications, personalized advertising, certain analytics).
You can withdraw consent (where applicable) by changing your device settings or contacting us.
4. Sharing of InformationWe may share your information with:
4.1. Service ProvidersThird-party companies that help us operate and analyze the App, including:
- Firebase (database, analytics, crash reporting);
- Google Analytics / Google Analytics for Firebase;
- Tenjin (attribution and analytics);
- Smartlook (session recording and analytics);
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs);
- advertising networks: Google Ads, Chartboost, Unity Ads, Liftoff Monetize, AppLovin, IronSource.
These providers process data on our behalf according to their privacy policies and applicable law.
4.2. Platform OperatorsApple, as the App Store operator, may process your data (including purchase information, device identifiers) in accordance with its own privacy policy.
4.3. Legal RequirementsWe may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities, or to protect our rights, property, users or the public.
4.4. Business TransfersIn case of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal data in the ordinary sense of “sale” for money.
5. Data RetentionWe retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:
- to provide you with the Application and related services;
- to comply with legal obligations;
- to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements;
- for analytics and improvement (usually using aggregated or anonymized data).
